Disk Cleanup Freezes On Compress Old Files
I am away on business and so my XP disks are at home. Now what needs to be done when "search" does not run on XP. Thank you. I have tried to do this on safe mode too but still hangs and my computers performance after I cancel it is brought down to almost nill. Any relationship? When I do run disk cleanup, it says I can compress 185,400K by compressing old files. I do not have much left and I try to delete by going to my disk clean up option but it does not remove anything under the compressed file. Exit the registry editor.
