Only reason I am keeping the 2010 around is because we are still using the 2010 Edge. WARNING: "enable-CSComputer" processing has completed with warnings. "2" warnings were recorded during this run. After 2-3 hours, the RTCAB and RTCAB1 databases grew 3-4 Gigabytes, the syncronization was finished and the Front End service finally finished starting and communicating with the BackEnd properly.

However your first log message indicates that the edge server cannot communicate with the local xds database (which is actually the configuration database) so I would assume that something went wrong If the problem would have been with the keep alive and the chnages I made that you instructed, then after changing it back the error would have returned.
