Why not just source release the kernel module like Nvidia and the main xorg driver components to avoid an ABI issue? This sadly is an ongoing issue with getting AMD to release a driver where portions can be rebuilt if needed. any ideas? Here is the info you're requesting, i.e lspci -vvnn /var/log/Xorg.0.log /etc/X11/xorg.conf I've not done any manual changes in xorg.conf except of removing it to get up running and then recreated it Didn't knew what packet libglx.so belongs to, repoquerey was new to me and "yum provides" was no help. nvidia-switch --remove was failing because of absence some GL libraries and whole update process stuck. If it still will not load then it won't work.
