The -windowed mode worked, but my frame rates dropped to around 30ish, which i find wholly unacceptable: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU ES-2680 @ 2.70GHz (16 CPUs) 2.50GHz 32 GB Ram Crossfire 6990's Result is the same.Running the binaries with the alternate LD_PRELOAD changes nothing.Launching from Steam also still doesn't work, same error. don't use the beta drives to many issues. I have tried running it in windowed mode, disabling windows defender, turning off my firewall, disabling the steam overlay, and deleting and re-installing the game. Seriously buggy game ... Those sneaky overlays, I tell you....
It's really simple.
