Method 2 step #6 helped solve my problem. The steps are remarkably similar for each browser, although how you go about performing them varies wildly between browsers. If I had used method 8 first I would have solved the problem in minutes rather than hours, and without Restarts. Maybe it should be higher up the list? found out it was SpAPPSv32.dll which resided in c:program files\suptab. Additionally, also see if the following registry subkey is enabled: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\UseCoInstall If it is absent, no issues.
Give it a try. Also please uninstall all the unwanted programs from control panel using method 4 help.
